Daniel Malone is the co-founder and co-owner of Portsmouth Coin & Currency Co., a professional numismatist, educator, entrepreneur, and rare coin dealer with more than 40 years of experience in the coin industry. He specializes in buying, selling, grading, authenticating, and appraising U.S. coins, paper money, bullion, and precious metals while helping collectors, investors, and families make informed numismatic decisions.

Daniel is also the co-founder, co-owner, and Lead Numismatic Advisor of CoinAiLyzer, where he leads the company’s numismatic training and grading initiatives. Working alongside the development team, he helps build and refine AI models using professional grading standards, market knowledge, and decades of real-world dealer expertise to advance the future of AI-assisted numismatics.

He is the creator of the CoinHELPu educational platform, which includes the CoinHELPu website, help community, social media help groups, and one of the largest educational YouTube channels dedicated to coin collecting. Through these resources, he has educated hundreds of thousands of collectors on coin grading, counterfeit detection, market trends, and best practices in numismatics.

Daniel is a member of the American Numismatic Association (ANA), the Professional Numismatists Guild (PNG), CONECA, and maintains memberships with leading third-party grading organizations, including PCGS, NGC, and CACG.
